It could be a nice idea to change that though. M&M could deduct 1000/2000 QP/P and transfer the rest into the next year just like with Flying Blue, to compensate for the one year qualification period.
I think that would make more sense than throwing QP at everyone because they notice people don't reach their goals.

And this way, you can have a year with less LH-flying without being punished immediately. I will easily get 4000 QP every two years, but not sure I will reach 2000 QP every single year and I would be very upset if I lost SEN because one specific year is a little more quiet.
