This just looks like a regional airline. The comments on youtube seem to agree as well.
Funnily the older safety video has more positive comments.

For those who are saying the video is inspired from SQ's, I would say no. South East Asian Airlines are adapting the same theme as well to showcase country's people, culture and tourism - e.g. Philippine Airlines inflight safety video. No comparison, everyone is unique in many different ways. By the way they keep it with the Cantonese version too - kudos!
