It would seem that LX are now exclusively using the new S terminal gates at BKK which is a new facility and a train ride away from the main terminal. Previously First passengers would be met with a buggy to transport them to immigration but on my recent arrival we were met at the door and escorted on foot to the transfer train which I really failed to see the point of. After check in the previous process was to use the Thai first class lounge and then be escorted to the gate, usually on foot, but then directly on board bypassing any queues. Has anyone experienced a recent return in F from BKK departing from the S gates? I am due to fly BKK-ZRH in a few weeks.
