I will say, the the A320/319 don't have the new bins and it's a cluster at the end of boarding, coupled with the hard bulkheads, to get bags in sometimes. I don't expect GA's to know all the planes and what not, but the majority of the fleet is 737/A321.
I'd be shocked if aircraft type isn't on the GA boarding screens. In fact, it appears that a notation of a Spacebin equipped aircraft is directly on the GA boarding UI (from 2019):

They just don't care and/or provide no training. This is why there's that other recent thread not believing the lavs can be inop below 18k feet, because of the "very full flight" or "overhead bins are full" little lies we hear constantly
