Officially they don't allow hardsided cases. What people have reported is that it seems to be questionable how much they enforce it. But the rules are pretty clear.
Yes I’ve seen that baggage requirement PDF, but the hard side bag with an X is a full size checked bag. The hard side bag I want to bring is the same size as the carry-on with a green check. I don’t understand why soft or hard shell would make a difference assuming bag is the same size.
