Electrical regulations in the UK don't allow for any 240 volt sockets in bathrooms for safety reasons. Shaver sockets are allowed but these have isolating transformers to reduce the risk of electric shock in the vicinity of water. Similarly no wall mounted light switches are allowed in bathrooms. You may sometimes get pull cord switches.
