We stayed at the Park Lane back in May, three nights booked with points. We were upgraded to an Executive floor room, but still standard king. I was a bit disappointed that even though the room had a balcony, the doors to the balcony were locked with no way to open them (screwed together with safety screws). So, couldn't get much of a view since you had to stand inside the room and not on the balcony to view out. The room was spacious, the bathroom was OK if a bit dated. The shower was in the tub and the water tended to spray all over and not very well. Toilet seat was loose and I couldn't tighten it, so had to be extra steady. Weirdly, the hair dryer couldn't be plugged in anywhere in the bathroom. The only plug it could use was out in the room in front of the big mirror. We did have a small fridge to use, which came in handy for leftovers from the tea at Fortnum & Mason (a nice walk from the hotel). We did love the location as it is walkable to all the high street shops (like F&M). Very convenient bus access. The Executive Lounge was one of the better we've ever had anywhere. Breakfast, snacks, evening offerings were very substantial and plentiful. Lots of drink options, and they kept the tables clean continously.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here.
