I just got hit with an email notification. Flying in the "F" cabin on September 3rd, or was supposed to MEL-AKL. My wife and I were actually going out of our way to to get to MEL just to fly on this.

Do you think there's any chance if I ask I could get rebooked SYD-AKL instead? As I said, we were just flying to MEL to connect to this plane (on an award ticket I can cancel).

Otherwise can anyone see any dates +/- 2 days that the plane is flying anywhere in AUS - AKL?


Also my email notification makes no sense. Says I was charged ($970 USD) to a visa, but also refunded 80, 80, and 800 for a ticket (which makes no sense - those weren't the prices I paid for either the seat upgrades nor our tickets). I also don't see a pending refund on my credit card but will assume it takes a couple days. Still, frustrating.
