After a very enjoyable few weeks in Europe, it was time to return back to JFK. For this, I booked a roundtrip flights on AA with the MUC-LHR flight on BA in economy and LHR-JFK in premium economy on a 777. Once through security at MUC, we made our way to and into the Airport Lounge World in terminal 1. This was a two floor lounge with buffet spread, lockers and showers on the first floor and some additional seating on the second floor.

The main buffet spread was on the first floor, and although a bit thin on selection, it was very clean, the food appeared to be of reasonable quality and the marble cake especially was tasty.

The first floor felt a little crowded although not quite as excessive as say Centurion lounges in the US. We opted to walk up to the second floor which included an atrium and several different seating options.

The row of Dr. Evil chairs just opposite from the stairs would be our spot and included some tarmac views.

There was a small minibar near our seats that included usual staples. I was curious but not exactly tempted by some of the bottles including Bud Spencer the Legend dry gin ...

All in all a good lounge.
