Lighting in cabins

The Daily Telegraph has continued its series of articles on a Saturday about flying with something this week about cabin lighting. I will not discuss the article directly here on the BA board as I expect it would be rapidly banished to another.

But it made me think about cabin lighting. In the DT article I counted ten different options that will be available in their F cabin. But when I fly I want just three: very bright for reading and eating, dull for watching the TV and dark for sleeping. This is sort of achievable on BA long haul although the bright isn’t bright enough and the dark still too light.

Are you happy with the existing lighting on your flights?
