Timings of both flights op is taking are perfect for sleeping (only thing AY J gets somewhat positive reviews from), HEL-HKG departs after midnight and then you have to wait hour and half for some one tray service economy meal. Hardly Instagram-worthy. So better to eat in the lounge and sleep.
SIN-HEL with J ticket you have possibility to go QR lounge and eat proper meal before the flight instead of waiting for the plane offering.

So yes, thats my advice how to enjoy AY J, eat in the lounge and sleep.
Who sleeps 13 hours onboard ??
In my opinion the Finnair food is comparable to BA or CX biz class food. What is annoying that they still have the one-tray service.

I wish the couple a pleasant flight !
