"Personal item" on LH? Limits?

I have a flight coming up on LH in Economy ("Flex Economy" if such a thing exists and makes a difference). It's an intra-European flight on an A320neo.

One checked bag ("hold" bag) and one carry-on bag ("cabin bag") are included in my fare. I've found the limits for dimensions and weights for those type of bags. As LH seems to have a reputation for being strict about bag size/weight (and I assume that reputation is deserved), we will follow the published limits carefully.

What I'm wondering about is the third type of bag: "the personal item." I see no mention of this on the LH website (maybe I missed it). I assume LH does allow for one small item, but I don't see that nor do I see any specified limits for size/weight, or a general description as some airlines may use (eg "one small purse or similar item").

Note: I did not find any reference to a "personal item" on the LH website, but doing a search for that I found a website purporting to list LH bag policies and limits. There I *did* find specified limts for a personal item (claimed to be 15.7" x 11.8" x 3.9" with no specified weight limit)...but I am hesitant to put a lot of faith in that since it's source is simply somebody's blog. It sounds plausible but I'd like confirmation.

Can anyone confirm that 1) LH does allow a small "personal item" in addition to the checked bag and carry-on? and 2) If so, what are the specified limits for size/weight or other descriptor for that "personal item"?

Thanks!
