Do globalists get the benefits of the Destination Fee even if the fee is waived? I know we are supposed to, but it's not worth fighting over.

I'm partiucularly interested in the 15%-30% on BroadwaySF. When I checked with the front desk, I was put on a long hold and then told all I need to do is bring my receipt to the front desk and I would get 30% back. That seemed very odd, usually it's an upfront discount when purchasing. Anyone familiar with this?
