I dare to disagree. I don't see metal cutlery nor china to be part of llying in Y even on full-fare airline. I think those belong to J and PE. And I don't make difference between cardboard and plastic boxes, even though Singapore Airlines had a controversy when they switched to cardboard in Y. And there are really not many airlines that offer metal cutlery in Y (Qatar did?).
What I agree is, that the breakfast looked super sad. Food didn't look appetizing nor large enough for average guy. Couln't expect any more from our LQC however, which is quite sad. And, well, at least they didn't get quiche'd. That would have been even worse outcome.
The return of another meal choice was positive supprise. That must be an error made in management and will be enhanced shortly. Most likely the intention was to give passengers choice of either dinner [i]or[/i} breakfast, but the management didn't communicate that clearly enough to the catering.
