Question Best way to upgrade from eco to biz in SIN-CNS flight?
Hi, I purchased an economy ticket class N for a flight from Singapore to Cairns (Australia). A 6h flight.
It is flown on a 350-900 and would like to see my chances of upgrading to business class for this leg.
Expertflyer shows that business class is fully open and the flight is in 5 days, so I may stand a chance to buy an upgrade.

I donīt have any status on Star Alliance, just a normal member in United.

Does anyone have a best suggestion for this case? Either try 72hs before the flight takes off via the website or early check in the day at the airport? Or maybe class N cannot upgrade?

I see that I can buy Aeroplan points for USD 700 and get a seat so that would be my 1st thing to do if nothing better comes up here.
