Yeah, not the most elegant presentation of the dish. But there are no potatoes in it, they would probably have had a better consistency for the purpose, the starch keeping it a bit more together.
Ah ha, ok. I had to pull up the online menu, just assumed it was meant to be potatoes that fell apart in the bath of gravy.
