Disappointing reports there. As long as the wine is better than the filthy Chardonnay they regularly serve now at the Marriott Maida Vale I will be reasonably content. We can always nip out afterwards for a drunk curry somewhere nearby.
I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself, but on the other hand you seem to be really blowing this thing out of proportion; at the end of the day its still just a hotel lounge at a Marriott branded hotel. INot sure that is something I'd equate to "bucket list" worthy and "childhood dreams."
