Sadly, it was time to drive back to Stuttgart and return the Porsche. Check-in was similar to check-out in that it included a detailed review of the car's condition. The car was fine and I was not dinged for any damage. One bit of advice I would have is sort of common sense - walk around the car and grab photos of scratches yourself prior to the start of the rental.

After a 2 hour train ride from Stuttgart, the next two nights would be spent in Munich at the Hyatt Andaz Schwabinger Tor.

We got a nice upgrade to the Andaz suite and had a safe arrival drink.

Out and about in Munich ...

One of my favorite things about walking around old cities in Europe is seeing the details and ornamentation that have gone into doors. This was just a random door off a random alley near Marienplatz.

Augustiner beers and the restaurant close to the Hofbrauhaus were a welcome reprieve from the sun.

The Andaz's main restaurant was fully booked so we found a nearby restaurant and bar, Tantris. The bar includes an infinity mirror and some funky lighting

The next morning's breakfast buffet

Pretzels are an important part of any well-balanced breakfast
