There are always other options, also independent regular hotels, it is a question of what you want. Earning points for this I think is a great option, and price-wise I expected it to be much much higher.
This is not four seasons tented camp
. Its a bunch of inxpensive tents close to mainstream destinations and I would adjust service expectation to minimum. There is an element of novelty but the premium you ll pay is quite significant.
