One night stay - well 12 hours - it was just about okay

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked King Junior Suite River view
After questioning at check out apparently I got a King Junior Suite corner room (641)

How are the rooms?
Modern design
Appalling lighting
River view? You must be joking, maybe at the extreme corner of the window, charming view of the apartment building opposite though

How is the exec. lounge?
It’s fine, evening canopes and drinks,
Good salad, rest average
Only had coffee and a danish for breakfast, but the breakfast menu seemed extensive to order so looks good

Did you receive a welcome gift?
Some kind of tea bags in a small box
a few slices of cake

How was the minibar?
Didnt really examine it, its in a small refrigerated drawer below the kettle

What was good and what was bad?
Staff are attentive and very polite
Car from airport was good

I thought I would try it as normally stay at Bugis, Just under 1000 SGD for a night and a car each way not great value. Luckily returning to IC Bugis later in the week.
