Book both of you on the ecredit on the same flight which is allowed if you call in. Then the day of the flight you cancel. Or a colleague I know once used an ecredit it to book a child on a domestic trip of the same gender. She also once had the person buy a ticket to get through security then travel domestically using the boarding pass credit. I don’t advocate this but I know it worked for her.
