Had the pilot or FA spent 10 seconds communicating the technical reason passengers would've probably appreciated it, and learned something new. And I'm sure no one would prefer to take a delay vs use the toilet between 10-18k feet.
Agreed. Some of the drivel that comes out of the facial orifice that would more properly come out of the nether orifice from various FAs and gate agents over the years would make one reasonably believe that the "excuse" was a bunch of poopoodoodookaka.
