I disagree. They look the same, they should behave the same. The plastic is the same grey GIFT CARD design, which lead me to believe that it's the same product, I think it's deceptive.
I'm against dormancy fees for any gift cards; it's unfair in it's nature. Especially for visa/mastercard GC, where there is an activation fee (which I probably didn't pay, but that's irrelevant)

Thanks for your good suggestion; if only I knew there might be a potential dormancy fee... I know that even after the expiration date, they will replace the card with a balance, so I thought it was safe. Imagine receiving it as a gift and knowing nothing about VGCs at all, you would assume that it expires after the expiration day.
