TK will do nothing on AC/UA ticket. Keep calling AC - they are responsible for making a change.

I almost got the ticket changed by UA to a perfect flight/connection. Only to receive a call 15min later from the manager who was helping me to inform that "it didnt ticket properly". I already had a confirmation and ticket... I am guessing their hand got slapped for making "illegal" change. They were very apologetic and asking _me_ to allow them to cancel.

In the end I booked a new ticket and cancelled the changed one. Still waiting on miles refund.
