Here's a bit more of a specific question for you folks, but piggybacking off the same kinda topic.

Does anyone know of a website where I can search for just hotel prices, throw in some filters, but have no destination in mind? As an airline employee flights aren't really an issue, but lodging is crazy expensive. There's countries that are cheap overall, which I'm generally aware of and I've travelled to a bunch of them. But I would love to explore more of my own country, Canada, and visit more places in the US/Australia etc. But the cost of just finding a reasonable non-dorm place to sleep is out of reach so often.
