You can consider asking for wheelchair service, which is complimentary and is not gate dependent. That said, if there is high demand at any particular time, there may be a bit of a wait after landing (which I experienced once when my mother with a sprained ankle requested for transit - it was a bit stressful as there were no agents around upon landing and time was getting tight for the next flight).
