Their cunning plan is obviously working. I am booked on a trip to Copenhagen from MAN. I will need to do another trip as well though. The direct flights work out pretty well as I can set off from my house at a sensible time in the morning and be in the city about noon, then fly back in the afternoon on Sunday and still catch a train home rather than have to get a taxi. So I will have a proper weekend break rather than a 'run'.
Got the cheapest fare by booking direct with SAS. Google flights didn't have anything cheaper to offer. But I did use Google flights to find the cheapest weekend for my trip. As well as an under seat item, my status gives me an additional whopping 8kg carry on. But that will be plenty for a single night.
