Data point: I made the mistake of thinking that because my booking was for "room only" - meaning no flights or rental car - my stay would be eligible for EQN. My stay for was 6 nights at Secrest Akumal last month. Turns out it is not due to a Costco GC (and possibly included transfer). I would be very interested to see if Jed33d was able to get their EQN, even if the Costco reservation was a "package".

My experience w/ requesting the WOH number to my reservation was different. I added a comment to the Costco reservation requesting the number be added and emailed the hotel directly with the same request. Nada. Again possibly due to my stay being ineligible for EQN or points.
