That's like saying I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night -- even if you graduated from there it has nothing to do with the military..... I graduated from an affiliated academy -- but never served actively -- and would NEVER, EVER board early as someone that has served -- it's so offensive to anyone that has it makes me crazy.
