I didn't forget; I knew they were there. I try to liquidate $500 and $200, treating $100 and $50-ones as a last-minute gift. I think I didn't use these because the packaging was a white envelope, and I just wanted to load these to Amazon balance. No Walmarts in NYC and no easy ways to liquidate.
IMHO, many people keep these GCs because of the lack of liquidation opportunities.
I have some $200, but I don't think they expire.
I suggest everyone to cash out ASAP and not to hodl, because thieves can drain it, but I didn't expect to have a dormancy fee, because they are the same matabank cards from staples/grocery stores which don't have such a fee
