Curious to get the wisdom on the crowd on a choice I have to make regarding the balance of the 2024 Medallion Year + 2025.

My company was eligible for the Delta Corporate Fast Track promotion this year, also known as 'Fast Track to Medallion Status' (details here). Essentially, I was able to earn 12 months of Platinum status by earning $7000 MQD in a six month period. I've successfully completed the challenge, and as a result my 12 months of PM status would technically end in July of 2025. I should also note I'm currently a PM so already have those benefits this year.

Looking at my current spend/earn patterns, I have $9300 MQD + $1200 pending MQD from flights + the potential to convert 48,000 rollover MQM to $4,800 MQD. So I could hit the 'real' PM MQD requirement with currently planned travel + rollover MQD (landing around $15.3K MQD), which would last until January 2026 rather than July 2025 from the promo PM.

I'm essentially trying to decide whether its worth having six extra months of PM status or whether its worth having 24,000 converted MQMs to miles. I guess it comes down to planned travel spend for next year (i.e. would I have hit 2025 MQD requirements by July or not), and if not would I miss PM benefits (I believe I would drop to gold as I'd land north of the $10K Gold MQD requirement for 2024). Anything else I should consider?

Also, has anyone else who's completed the challenge also not seen their 2025 status update on the app? Mine is saying my level will be Silver, I assume because I only have $9300 MQDs for the year, and that once January rolls around it would update to show the promo status level. I've already seen 2025 choice benefits come in which I think is good validation...
