I would also point out that the LGW - JFK seems to be regularly cancelled so I do not think that is a good idea/
Dear OP = why did you pick on LCY? Do you live nearby?
I don't live near any London Airport Really I live in South Wales so any London airport is a bit of a travel for me but you get used to travelling to a big airport for long destination trips. Whenever I go from Heathrow I always get a hotel the night before so wouldn't make a difference going to LCY, for singapore late this year I'm actually getting a hotel after because of how late I get in to Heathrow lol.
I picked LCY as I heard that it was a bit of a different airport very small but had some nice connections heard it's very efficient getting through and the take off and approach are a bit unique so wanted to try it for myself.
