A couple years back Delta bought a stake in LATAM Airlines and made them leave OneWorld. I remember that I read an interview with an executive at the time, saying that for now the focus would be on setting up the JV together and that SkyTeam membership might be considered later. It's been a couple of years since then, but there seems to have been no news on that topic. Tbh having Latam in SkyTeam would be pretty epic considering that they're the biggest airline in South America and basically in every country.
Does anyone know anything, regarding a potential LATAM entry into SkyTeam?
