The D check explains why my MEL-AKL flight on 24 August has been swapped from OKU to a standard 77W. I booked this return flight specifically for OKU and paid the $105 for the BPP seats.
I used a recognition upgrade (which has cleared) from Y- J. The upgrade is still confirmed so I guess I should be thankful!
I only realised the equipment swap when I looked at my upcoming flights and saw I had no seat selected.
Still waiting on a refund for the BPP seats. I hope this happens automatically as I really cannot be bothered calling NZ and being on hold for an hour...
