I would classify myself as a premium recreational/leisure traveller. The past 18 months YYZ to SIN was $ 5,299 (reasonable) all J class segments booked 5 to 6 months out. Of which I booked 6 flights. The day they released the May 3 2024 earnings the fares are now $ 7,300.00 all across the board even a year out, with some that are even mixed cabin. Guess who is NOT going to book 4 of those flights every year? Bye bye AC $ 21,196.00 revenue (Just enough to qualify for SE, ha!)
