I could not find that brand anymore... I think it featured on one of the Asian carriers.

But a quick google search will net you a "miso-bamboo" toothbrush with "boar-bristles" among others.

So I guess it could be compostable, but not halal?

This is a fad, given the long list on my search. I would not be surprised if DL includes some of this type of gimmick in their premium offerings.
