ANA IC is probably the best location IMO... but like other posters, not a fan of it at all due to some bad experiences in the past including refusal to acknowledge/provide status benefits. Looking better after the refurb but older rooms are very dated and not really IC standard (though unsure if any still exist, was unlucky enough to get one in late 2022).

Strings is a decent spot but I haven't stayed there. I despise anything on the bay, a wasteland and difficult to get to and from, but it is generally much more affordable.

Yokohama Pier IC is very nice through, and the Yokohama Grand is good value. I won't carry on too much about the location since you're familiar, but personally my parents would struggle with it due to walking and commuting time if they were wanting to head in to Tokyo.
