Looking at September 6th, I see 5 Song flights and 5 mainline flights. Three of the five mainline flights are 757's and two are on 763's. It appears that DL is going from one extreme to another and really saturating this route. They are either going after B6 or UA & AA's Y customers with all of these Song flights. I can see a fare war brewing already.

As for the two 763's on the LAX-JFK route, one is still the 9 AM (feeder) departure DL190 which makes sense as it will connect with most of the international traffic going out of JFK in the evening. However they have now added DL1842 which departs LAX at 3:30 PM and arrives at 11:38 PM. Frankly this makes no sense to me unless they need to reposition that plane for a early morning JFK departure.
