Hi all -
Traveling back to Cyprus and am looking to spend some time in the north. One of the areas of interest is the Famagusta area. The beaches in this area are near/around the abandoned town. I've read mixed reports ranging from i) some of the most gorgeous beaches, to ii) a trash filled un-cared for stick of sand. Has anyone visited or have a better picture of what to expect? If so, a hotel recommendation? (that might be asking too much but FTers have been all over and have great info)
