I feel for OP -- this is not an inexpensive hotel and we've stayed there many times -- especially this time of year -- and to cancel with one week left will cause an incredible increase in expense for a comparable property -- if OP can even find one! I would immediately be on the phone with the property and then Marriott corporate -- and don't give up until you get something satisfactory in return.
