I gave seats.aero an honest try - paid the monthly pro subscription for most of the past year. Ultimately, I found the service to be less than useful, at least to me. Quite literally, 100% of every alert I received over the past year was phantom inventory or not in inventory at all - across dozens and dozens of routes and many operating carriers and programs. In quite a few cases, I was sitting at my computer when the text alert came in and attempted booking within less than 1 minute of the alert. Even then, more than half the time the inventory was simply not available at all when searching the providers website. If it was in the search results, it was phantom inventory 100% of the time.

I realize that this is an inexact science, but still... I'd have probably been satisfied if they had at least managed to provide something productive over the course of an entire year.

Note: I am not disparaging this company - simply relating my personal experience.
