My terrible run of luck with Paris continues UA56 supposed to depart at 9:45am pushed back at 3.30pm. The inbound was late due to maintenance and then we were delayed for two hours to get people and cargo from the cancelled Chicago service UA986.
Polaris is mostly non Revs I think and the service is poor as a result as they look after their friends. Flight deck barely an apology but they want you to know they are frustrated too.
I guess at least I’m not on DL.
Just be thankful you are going -- we came back on that flight recently and I was sweating it too as it was cancelled multiple times and massively delayed others -- we got the one day it went out on time and I was very glad -- we were in Bordeaux for most of the trip and the one day / night in Paris was a you know what show with all of the station / road closures for the Olympics.... Our favorite restaurant was less than 2km away and it took over an hour in an uber -- after that we only took the trains for anywhere we needed to go...
