I was just thinking about the driving alternative. We are flying BOS-JFK-BCN on Saturday, with a long layover in JFK. Not worried about that TATL portion, but BOS-JFK is in the morning and could be a prime opportunity for cancellation.

I would agree this seems smart. I feel like Delta will be in a far better place by Saturday, but with a long-haul flight you absolutely want to be on, makes sense to perhaps drive.
