We are trying to accumulate Aeroplan points for use with an Egypt Air flight in 2027 for the eclipse.

C1 has the current offer of 75K signup bonus plus the $250 travel credit, which definitely has some appeal.

My question is keeping that card for long term benefits worth it?

At some point we will be getting a Sapphire Preferred and possibly an Amex Platinum, although the latter is iffier. An Aeroplan card is also probably going to happen at some point.

We currently have IHG cards, a Marriott Brilliant, an Amex Green, Delta Platinum and a couple Chase Freedoms.

Is there any good reason to keep a C1 Venture with our lineup of cards?
