EW had issues with Amadeus Navitaire which completely migrated to the MS Azure cloud in May 2023. The Azure cloud had an issue the same day of the Crowdstrike failure, which is not necessarily related.

So EW had the same problem that BA/LH/other recently had when their pss, crs and dcs went down. Nothing to do with the counterstrike cluster on Thursday/Friday.
