KeaneJohn it was actually just at BP check at the gate they were doing it so no extra hassle. I was just surprised when they said the wanted to tag and went for the bigger bag until I read the tag 😂

zarp yep I remember gate check and pick up at the other end on some regional jets before, was superb and had no issues at all in doing it, sadly with it instead here going to the incredibly slow checked luggage system it's not enticing St all.
