I recently started getting same error code, “Invalid Merchant.” It was with VGC. Tried to load $400, and $200 at different times. It’s been in the last two weeks. Any thoughts on why? No issues before.
I’ve also gotten invalid merchant more frequently over the past two weeks at FD. Loading 409758 SS VGC Pathward/Incomm. Different amounts, but both times I was trying to load over $400. Maybe someone had just loaded prior to me trying; that’s my guess anyway. I haven’t had any fails for just $200, but I always use a staples VGC or MCGC card for that amount
