I am still trying to decide if we should stay here or the Doubletree Monti. I have plenty of points for standard at either property. I don't have to decide until the Doubletree gets rooms loaded for our dates. Interested to hear the perspective of anyone who has stayed at these two properties.
I personally don't like the Aleph Rome at all. I didn't stay after the 2023 refurbishment mentioned previously, but actually the problem here was not the room design - that was actually quite nice even back in 2021. The problem was rather the super small room size and the gloomy lighting, as there is a window to the inner "courtyard" and if you are not on the top floor, you will end up in a dark hole (and this was after the "upgrade").
The DT also comes with rather small rooms, but usually for a different price level and it is also a rather new hotel. The location of both hotels is similar and close to many sightseeing spots.
In the end, it is personal preference.
