Maybe it's an exception to the overnight rule if you take the first flight out to the destination, assuming all under one PNR?
Believe overnight is defined as arriving before 2AM? and departure after 6AM?

HOWEVER, there are a few known airport overrides (see the wiki), so ORD may have a airport specific override if a Kiosk allowed.
