Eliminated the Saturday Stay... and with it all the low fare buckets in some markets?

Grr... I did a quick check of one of the routes I often fly that has had the Saturday night stay requirement in the past (IAD-ROA), and though sure enough it seems UA has eliminated the Saturday stay there, they have also eliminated any fares below V!!!

I checked multiple dates / times over the entire year with varying stays, and the best I ever got (even though Expert Mode shows plenty of all buckets) was a $350 V fare. Looks like if I fly that route at all this year--and I did 12x last year--it will be via e-fares that are usually offered on that route and clock in around $105.

Used to be the S, T, and W fares on that route required the stay, but even W would come in at about $150, with T right at $100.

Curiously, I did see AWAC no longer shares that route with Shuttle America--now it's just the SF3s of ****tle America and no AWAC CRJs. I wonder if that has something to do with it? Maybe if DH bites the dust (which I have mixed feelings on) and is forced to come back as ACA they will fly this route again and thus open up more fares?
